We’re so proud to announce that we’ll be working with NHS England & NHS Improvement to design and build the next version of their collaboration platform, FutureNHS.
FutureNHS is a platform used primarily by NHS staff to share and develop ideas. It was launched three years ago to facilitate the exchange of transformational knowledge across the health and care community. Since the launch, the platform has proven to be popular with its users and currently hosts more than a thousand communities, and over 50,000 monthly active users. Within the last few weeks, uptake on the platform has spiked as NHS staff continue to share information and work together to confront the Covid-19 crisis.
Our work will aim to foster more collaboration amongst NHS staff through improved engagement with the platform, as well as reducing ongoing costs to run and maintain the service. Close collaboration with the FutureNHS product and service team will enable us to address usability and technical constraints, whilst iteratively developing a highly scalable, open-source successor platform.
Polly Jones, Head of Innovation and Collaboration, NHS England shares her thoughts on the partnership:
“NHS England aims to become a truly digital organisation. As part of this journey, we are looking to engage partners that are aligned with the NHS vision, are willing to challenge our thinking and improve our ways of working as a result. Red Badger has demonstrated a great cultural fit and alignment with our team.”
Our Delivery Director Sean Gabriel comments:
“Badgers cherish work that has a direct impact on people’s lives. As a purpose-led organisation, we’re very excited about the opportunity to work with the FutureNHS team during this challenging time in public health.”
We can’t wait for the next version of the platform to go live. In the meantime, why don’t you have a look at our case studies to find out more about how we work.
We’d love to hear from you. If you have a project in mind, please feel free to get in touch.
